01

The Free Plan

Tailored to horse and owner specifically. Covering key topics like a 30 Day Action Plan to build a solid foundation with your horse, Nutrition Plans  that fit the horse and owner best based on lifestyle, Ground Work exercises that all levels of horsemen and horses must be able to do with any type of experience, a Respect Test for horses and their owners to better understand each other, a Soundness Check for mind and body of the horse and person (most of the time it's the person who is the most problematic), and choosing the Right Gear for both horse and rider safety (as well as legal discipline requirements).

03

Horsesense: as in Commonsense

Covering key topics of Horse-Sense like learning how to bridge the gap between human logic and equine instinct, reading subtle body language and energy cues, helping one to better understand  the universal equine language to build a deeper, more trusting bond with your horse.

05

Does Your Horse Pass the Soundness Test?: Do You Pass the Soundness Test?

Covering key topics like self-soundness checks to evaluate your horse’s mental, emotional, and physical well-being without relying on expensive vet imaging. While formal assessments from a vet and farrier remain crucial for deep diagnostics, daily self-checks help catch issues early. A vital part of this is the 20% rule (ensuring your horse's total tack and rider weight does not exceed 1/5 of the horse’s body weight), preventing undue stress on their joints, ligaments, and bones. Soundness is a holistic partnership: when a horse displays behavioral or movement issues, the root cause is frequently traced back to the rider's balance, tack fit, or riding technique rather than the horse itself. Here you can find specific instructions on how to perform a basic, DIY hoof-to-ear self-check.

07

Comfort Starts with Protection

Covering key topics of essential equine care and how important it is to defend your horse from biting insects and irritation using targeted fly masks, sheets, and sprays. Discover the clean environment advantages like how stall management, pasture maintenance, and manure control drastically reduce not just fly or other bug populations, but health risks too (especially for broodmares). Other topics like understanding how improperly fitted saddles, bridles, and blankets cause discomfort and behavioral issues (and how to ensure the right fit), as well as a check list of all the right supplies for every horse, such as the must-have grooming tools, health supplies, and daily care essentials every owner needs (also covering deworming, vaccines and their importance).

02

Equine 101: Before You Ride or Buy

Covering key topics that help frame a beginner's journey, and guiding newcomers through deciding if horses are right for them, what discipline to choose, and why it matters. Here you will also find topics like preparing for the financial responsibility of ownership before purchasing or leasing a horse.

04

Barn Safety: Yes, the Small Things Count Largely

Covering key topics that explain how the smallest daily habits make the biggest difference in protecting your horses, livestock, property, loved ones, and yourself. As well as how to  identify hidden hazards, master easy-to-implement routines—from clutter-free aisles and secure chemical storage to routine electrical checks. Learn how proactive, simple adjustments create a secure and thriving environment for everyone.

06

Heavy is the Food that Feeds the Horse

Covering key topics like foundation of equine fuel and why the digestive tract of a horse requires a steady, high-fiber diet (just like human whole grains and greens) and how to maintain healthy gut flora. Other key topics like the importance of carbohydrates and fat, essential proteins, vitamins, minerals, hydration, electrolytes, and why it all matters, (even for just simple backyard, trail, pleasure, pasture, or retired horses - not just for growing or performance horses).

Working with Liv has completely changed my horse's behavior and skills for the better. Her patience and expertise were pivotal in our training journey. The barn that once asked my mare to leave has welcomed us back and now even offers us working board off as a lesson horse. It’s been a long road, but I couldn't be more thrilled with the progress we've achieved together!"
